Are you using the STEAM or the disc version of Soulstorm? Have you installed the Mod using the Full 1.87 installer before applying the Patch or are you using a legacy UA Mod which you wanted to update with the patch? Remember the the Mod Manager CANNOT detect outdated Mods! So eventhough everything is shown as green the Mod might fail to load because one or more Mods is outdated and not compatible with the current UA version. Your daemons mod could be possibly outdated when you've not installed from the 1.87 Full installer.
