Description The University of Michigan Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine Physician. The faculty candidate will be joining 3 board certified adolescent medicine physicians and one nurse practitioner in a recently established division with significant growth potential. The Division currently provides outpatient consultative clinical care for adolescents with a wide variety of healthcare needs, including eating disorders, chronic illness care, depression, anxiety, and reproductive health issues. Other specific multidisciplinary programs run by the division include the University of Michigan Comprehensive Eating Disorders Program and the Gender Management Program. Teaching is a key component of the position, and focuses on both undergraduate and graduate medical education. Opportunities for participation in clinical research and quality improvement projects are abundant.
