It is hard to believe that that was five years ago, but now the Alternative Metal band finally returns with their fourth album, “Uprise”. “Uprise” gets off to an intense start with “Hear Me”. This just an up-tempo opener and one that is sure to get the blood pumping. The sort of pop-ish break in the middle of the song is a bit different but it totally fits. Nemesea continues to be unrestrained by labels or style and “Uprise” is quite adept at including elements of metal, hard rock, alternative and even some pop influences.
